The biggest travel webpage and app TripAdvisor just anounced this years Choice awards. They go to companies that receive constant great reviews of their different services and activities. The reviews are made by guests or visitors. Since our opening in 2014, we can proudly anounce that TripAdvisor award was given to us every single year, and this year wasn’t exception. We are among top ten things to do in the whole world, which is a fantastic achievement. Our Elf room in Bled (www.thegame.si) was in 2020 and 2021 3x nominated for amazing TERPECA awards for the best Escape room. This puts us on top of Slovenia’s Escape rooms, an achievement we’re extremely proud of.    

TERPECA stands for: TOP ESCAPE ROOMS PROJECT ENTHUSIASTS’ CHOICE AWARD

The top rooms identified by this project each year are awarded a Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Award, or TERPECA, which represents the best of the best in the international escape room industry. The Top Escape Rooms Project is an attempt to find the best escape rooms in the world, by leveraging the experience of an international community of experienced players. Best Escape Rooms can be nominated only by escape room enthusiasts with at least 200 played escape games, which gives our Elf room even bigger weight. The award aims to highlight exceptional escape room experiences and recognize the efforts of creators and designers in the industry. Winning this award is a prestigious achievement within the escape room community and often signifies excellence in design, immersion, and overall experience.

TERPECA project began in 2018  and in its first year awarded the top 25 escape rooms and 10 companies. But as the project grew each year, along with contributors, from 2022 the award goes to the top 100 escape rooms.

The past two years were quite a challenge due to the situation with Covid, but we managed to keep up the good work. Hard work paid off and we proved persistance is very important in life. We got a very interesting visit to our escape room. A lovely Canadian family (residing in Switzerland) of 5, that went on a 5-week European vacation back in 2013 and ended exploring the whole wide world. So far they have been to more than 93 countries and it sounds like their dreams are coming true. Every day they are growing, exploring and learning so many new things, not to mention they are in the best possible school, school of life. We proudly present The Game Escape Room Bled as our new Escape room. We took over an amazing Escape Room right in the middle of a picturesque Bled. So far the guests were really amazed by its versatility, but we couldn’t help ourselves and added some creativity and a few ideas that’ll contribute to even better performance and end result. We are located near the main bus station and just across from the pastry shop Zima (formerly known as Smon). The webpage https://www.thegame.si/ was also renewed, you can find info about the room, plus we added booking system, so now you can book online. It’ll be our pleasure if you decide to play our marvellous and mysterious Elf room in Bled. Good luck 😉

December brings crowds from everywhere to Ljubljana. Not only tourists but also Slovenians from different parts of our country. They enjoy the wonderful view of decorated streets, buildings, stands that offer a colourfull variety of goods, street artists and city attractions. Amongst them is also Escape room activity, amazing entertainment which gained incredible popularity all over the world. The festive month holds a lot of Team buildings, birthday parties, and of course, hosts many visitors from abroad. It’s a great opportunity to wander around the lively streets and top it with an amazing Escape room experience. It’s a combination you won’t forget for a long time.

Escape room or Room Escape is an amazing activity where you get easily addicted and wanting more. The game is so immersive because you have the main role in it. You are locked in a thematic room with your friends, family or coleaugues. You have to cooperate as a team, find hidden objects and hints, solve puzzles and ciphers, observe well and basically find the main solution that’ll take you to freedom. To make things even harder you are of course limited with time. You can choose the classical Da Vinci – Sherlock room, where you get to play both rooms in the same game in 70 minutes or our Wonderland the next generation room, where your imagination is crucial and you have 60 minutes to successfully escape.
